Lectures
Week 4 ( 25/1/2022)
In this lecture video, we took a look at how the artist explores their identity. Each of these 3 artists has their own unique way of finding what is their own interests in art.
Looking at how Frida's husband painted her in an opposite matter such as her long hair in real life turned short. Glenn on the other hand asks his friends to describe him if he was missing. The point of this is to understand how the language is important till today's age. Marilyn Monroe who was a famous actress who died over drug overdoes later was created a painting of her by Andy Warhol, which made the public eye unhappy with the result because they wanted the realism of the painting.
What is a self-portrait?
A self-portrait of you does not have to be photographs of you being painted the same however a painting that represents you. A painting that tells a story of yourself and a painting that shows a side of what you do as a person.
INSTRUCTIONS
Week 4 (26/1/2022)
Looking back at the idea of finding my identity is that I'm the type of person to always be positive and to always look for the right answers by asking god when I am down. I look towards the light instead of putting myself down and bring motivation to those who are down as well. I too was inspired by Ariana Grande's song called "God is a woman".

Then I decided to draft a sketch of myself in the clouds to represent that I am a calm person, that looks to the light for answers.

I started doing the line art during this week as well. I had to change a few looks such as the eyes, mouth, and clouds.

I went and start coloring following the flow colors of the sunsets, very warm-toned colors.

I went and proceed to add the shadows just to have volume in the work that I have done so far.

Finally here is the outcome.
Reflection
To be quite honest it was hard for me to find what my identity was at first. After a while and long talks with my grandma, I must look at something that made me who I am today. A strong, positive girl who reflects her negative energy towards the positive. Which took quite a while for me to understand and why didn't I go for the drawing that has me who likes to game and draw a lot, but then I ask myself why? why do I like to draw? Why do I like to game? What leads me to like drawing and gaming? My grandma pointed at my chest, and says "the answer lies here". That blew my mind for a second. So many ways and so many more of me that I can still discover that lead me to draw myself in the clouds under the light.
Reference
you could have included more visualized journey to realising this solution to projecting your concept of self. However, you did invest in this and i would say that this is worthy of further exploration as how I see this now its really clever! nice!
