Exercises | Quantifiable Information, L.A.T.C.H
Instructions
Exercise 1 | Quantifiable Information & Visualize Data
In the 1st week, we were told to bring any item that can be counted or grouped upon the assignments given. We were also supposed to count the items we chose and arranged them to look presentable.
Once I collected all the coins I decided to group them and lay down some numbers with a sort of data, and sizes.

Afterward, I sort the coins according to size and added designs around them.

Exercise 2 | L.A.T.C.H
We are to organize a group of information into a visual poster that combined and utilizes the LATCH principles.
- Size Resolution : 1240 x 1750 pixels or 2048 x 2048 pixels
- Digital photo editing/ illustration software is available to assemble the PokƩmon into a LATCH infographic poster.
- We can reuse back the images of the monsters but do create the rest of our own visuals to complete the poster.
I in fact do not play Pokemon or any sort of pokemon type game, but I do like every creature character design. So I decided to do some research on some ideas about the map, design..etc
In the slides brief given, this is one of the inspirations. I simply admire how simple it is for the pokemon map.

I loved these map designs, it does show a whole Island with weather conditions which looks fun to play on. So I decided to design an Island with a separation of the weather forecast which looks some sort of level in-game.

I managed to find these icons that would look cool in the map design.
Afterward, I had to do some research on these pokemon type bugs in order to place them in the map, It was a really long list so I decided to go with ice, fire, rock, and water.
Location Idea: Ice land
Location Idea: Forest Volcano
