Video Breakdown
Fig 1.1 Video Chosen (27/01/23)
For project 1 we were tasked to choose a recipe from the Pasta Grannies Youtube page. I decided to go for Asparagus Lasagna one since it looked really delicious. So I wrote down some of the ingredients and how to make them as well.

Visual Research
|
|
I went ahead and did some research and look for some inspiration for how I wanted my design to look.
The ones that I preferred are ones with very clear step-by-step instructions and also an introduction to the ingredients.

Fig 1.7 Sketch of the design (27/01/23) |
For my sketch I wanted to go for the stacks of the food style, where one is layered after another, It just makes sense for a lasagna recipe.
Illustrations
Right after I sketched the whole thing, I drew the whole ingredients in procreate.

Infographic Posters
I rearranged a few of the elements on the canvas and I find it frustrating since I have a hard time arranging the whole ingredients all together, but I managed it anyway. I made a few alignments to see which one looks good.
I asked Mr.Hafiz for some feedback and I was told that the graphics are good, however, I must add some words to the poster.
I made a few changes to my poster and decided to go for a different look with a mix of minimalism.

Project 1 (Part 2) Animated Instructable Infographic Poster
I decided to go for a simple animated infographic, with simple position layering to the elements for this one, since I have all the elements ready for editing.

Feedback
- Week 4 Feedback: Mr.Hafiz told me to add information (text), measurements such as quantity (gm, kg, time), and quality (type of ingredient) should be included in the draft. It's important to create the draft and include text and images as both are equally important.
