Kinetic Typography in After Effects

• Text layer > Character (Size, leading, kerning) > Align
• Animate > Position, scale, opacity
• Keyframing: Range selector > start 100% > 0% easy easy/F9
• Keyframing: Graph editor
• Motion blur
• Composition: Paragraph, guidelines, title safe
• Composition: Null object > Parenting

My Progression 

Farah (our group leader) created a spreadsheet with the lyrics in it, so we could choose what part of the lyrics we want to do. I chose the Intro part.

Afterward, I opened my after effects and get a head start with my typography editing. There were a bunch of words that needed to be aligned with the lyrics, so it took me a week to finish the process.

Practical | Exercise 4, Animation Bar Chart 

For this exercise, we were assigned to create different types of  Charts following the spreadsheet given. I was assigned to do the "B" section which is the pie chart.

I had a little bit of time, so I just did the donut chart for fun as well. By reducing the Stroke.

Reflection

For this project, I enjoyed editing and following the briefs. However, my schedule was really tight due to the short semester, so I tried managing with the time given. It is a good experience for me that way I could do better in the working industry.
