Reflection:

Collaborating on the Nutricup project has been a significant learning experience. Our team worked to create a brand that emphasized health and convenience, and my role included developing the concept, designing the billboard and packaging, and refining the mascot/logo. While I faced challenges in perfecting my designs, the feedback from my teammates, particularly Gina, played a vital role in improving the outcomes. Despite moments of miscommunication, we successfully aligned our ideas and delivered a cohesive final presentation, which highlighted our collective efforts.

Feedbacks:

  • The designs could have benefitted from more frequent peer reviews to ensure consistency and avoid last-minute changes.
  • Better time management and task delegation within the group would have helped reduce stress during the final stages of the project.
  • The group's ability to provide constructive feedback was a strength, as it helped elevate the overall quality of the project.

Future Understandings:
Moving forward, I understand the importance of establishing clearer communication channels and setting regular check-ins to ensure everyone is aligned. I also realize the need for more iterative design processes, where feedback can be incorporated earlier and more effectively. Finally, fostering a proactive approach to task delegation and timelines will enhance the efficiency and creativity of future collaborative projects.

This experience has been a stepping stone in refining my collaboration skills and understanding the dynamics of group design work.
